NSS Unit of NLUJA, Assam in collaboration with Central Bureau of Communication Guwahati and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting organised a 3 day Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme on Hamara Samvidhan - Hamara Samman to commemorate National Constitution Day.
National Commission for Women in collaboration with National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam Organised Regional Law Review Consultation on Cyber Laws Effecting Women (North East Region) at Seminar Hall, NLUJA.
The Centre for Clinical Legal Education and Legal Aid Cell, in collaboration with the Centre for Disability and Health Laws at NLUJAA held a legal awareness camp. This event took place across two schools, Anandi Hindi High School and Amingaon High School, offering an opportunity for school students across Classes 8,9 and 10 to learn about crucial legal topics, including mental health rights, child labor laws, disability rights, child protection, and child marriage prevention.
A workshop on Intellectual Property Rights was conducted by the Department of Law, Cotton University in collaboration with the DPIIT-IPR Chair of National Law University and Judicial Academy (NLUJA), Assam on 25th October, 2024 from 10.00 am onwards at the Seminar Hall, MCB Building, Cotton University.

The purpose of the event was to introduce students to ICC and the range of internship possibilities that are available, including those in both the public and private sectors.
The IQAC of NLUJA, Assam organised a special lecture by Prof. (Dr.) Alak Kumar Buragohain, Former Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University & Ombudsman, Student Grievance Redressal Cell, NLUJA, Assam. The session was held online from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the crucial topic of 'Anti-Ragging'.
Prof. Buragohain shared his valuable insights and emphasized the importance of maintaining a ragging-free environment in educational institutions. The session was highly informative and reinforced our commitment to creating a safe and supportive campus for all students.
NLUJA, Assam celebrated the 78th Independence Day of India. Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor hoisted the Tricolor, symbolizing our unity, freedom, and pride. The event was graced by the presence of faculty, students, and non-teaching staff, who all came together to commemorate this special day.
Following the flag hoisting, the Cultural Committee, SBC, NLUJA, Assam organized a beautiful event to celebrate the spirit of Independence Day. The event was filled with patriotism and unity as our talented students showcased their artistic skills.
To mark the spirit of Independence Day, NLUJA, Assam also conducted a plantation drive on our campus. This initiative was led by faculty, students, and non-teaching staff, all of whom came together to contribute towards a greener future.

To pay tribute to Padmashri Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science in India, the Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) at NLUJA, Assam organized an exhibition of bestsellers and award-winning books. Faculty members, students, and administrative officials visited the Knowledge Resource Centre to observe and celebrate National Librarian's Day.
Orientation Programme for new batch of UG and PG Course was held at Seminar Hall, NLUJA, Assam. Prof. Indrajit Dube, Vice-Chancellor of NLU Meghalaya, inaugurated the event and emphasized the importance of law education. Dr. Amol Deo Chavhan, Ms. Aparajita Dutta Hazarika, Dr. Nandarani Choudhury, and other esteemed faculty members introduced the university, its research centres, and various extracurricular activities. Prof. Debasis Poddar, Ms. Namrata Gogoi, and Dr. Shailendra Kumar discussed crucial topics such as anti-ragging, prevention of sexual harassment, and hostel rules. On the second day, Dr. Amol Deo Chavhan and Dr. Himangshu Ranjan Nath provided an overview of the course curriculum. Shri Abhay Pratap Singh from APS Judicial Academy, New Delhi, gave an insightful lecture on career opportunities in law. Parthvi Ahuja, Advocate Supreme Court of India, shared valuable information about internships and career opportunities in corporate lawyering.
