Preety Borah Marak has actively engaged in social justice initiatives, particularly in the fight against human trafficking. She has collaborated with several NGOs, including Odanadi Seva Samsthe in Mysuru, advocating for the protection and rehabilitation of trafficking victims. In the corporate sector, she served as an advisor at 24/7.ai in Bengaluru and has also worked as a freelance writer with Weaving Thoughts.

Currently, Preety is a valued Guest Faculty of Law at National Law University, Assam, where she teaches Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), sharing her knowledge and practical insights with aspiring law professionals.
