Profile

Carolin Yanglem is currently engaged with the National Law University and Judicial Academy Assam as a Guest Faculty of Law teaching Intellectual Property Rights, International Law, Constitutional Law, Cyber Law, Offences against Child at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She did her specialization in International Law and Intellectual Property Rights in PG and UG respectively. She was the topper of her batch and subject toppers in Taxation, Human Rights, Alternative Dispute Resolutions in her undergraduation. She bagged the R.K. Sanatombi Memorial Gold Medal in her post graduation being the overall topper of her batch. Her areas of interest include but are not limited to Culture, IP and Community Justice,Women Health and Law, International Humanitarian Law,Jurisprudence amongst others.

She has presented papers at various international and national conferences and has several publications in both UGC-Care-listed and peer reviewed journals. She has attended the Advanced Directed Studies of 101 Summer Course 2024 on Public International Law at Hague Academy of International Law, International Court of Justice, Peace Palace.

She has been an active debater, mooter, mediator during her law school days and she has represented her university in various State, National and International Debating and Moot Court Competitions. She was a part of the literary and publication team in her law school. She is also a Scholarship Recipient of Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations 2018. She is an avid reader, literature enthusiast, dancer and an aspiring writer.
