Profile

Dolly Kumar is presently working as a Research Assistant in the DPIIT-IPR Chair at the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam.  She is also a Research Scholar and currently pursuing her Ph.D. from P.G. Department of Law, Gauhati University.
She had completed her 3 years LL.B. (Hons.in Intellectual Property Law) from University Law College, Gauhati University in the year 2013 and LL.M. (Specialization in Human Rights) from P.G. Department of Law, Gauhati University in the year 2016. She had served as Guest Lecturer in the P.G. Department of Law, Gauhati University from 2016-2020. During her tenure in the Department of Law, apart from participating in academic activities she was also engaged by the University to deliver lectures in the International Student Exchange Programme during the year 2019. Simultaneously she had also worked as Guest Lecturer at the MBA(BE) Department, Gauhati University in the year 2018 for six months and as an Adjunct Faculty at Royal School of Law and Administration, Royal Global University from 2018-2021.
Her area of interest includes human rights, humanitarian law, intellectual property law, constitutional law, international law.
