Dr. Dipakshi Das is an Assistant Professor of Economics, National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam and is engaged in the teaching of B.A. L.L.B. Five Years Integrated Course. Prior to joining of NLUJAA, she was working as an Assistant Professor of Economics, Commerce Stream in Pragjyotish College, Guwahati.

She has done her B.A. in Economics with specialisation in Mathematical Economics from Cotton College, Guwahati and has completed her M.A. in Economics with specialisation in Demography, Statistics and Environmental Economics from Gauhati University, Guwahati. She also holds a B. Ed. degree from Banikanta Government B.Ed. College, Guwahati. She completed her Ph.D on the topic “Impact of Subsidies on the Micro, Small and Medium Entreprises (MSMES) of Assam: A Study with Special Reference to the Kamrup District” from Gauhati University.

She has been a ranker throughout her academic career securing seventh rank all over Assam in her Higher Secondary Board Examination in 2007, First Class second position with distinction in her Graduation in 2010 and First Class fifth position in her Masters in 2012 under Gauhati University. She cleared UGC-NET and SET in 2015. She is also a holder of Post Graduate Merit Scholarship Award for University Rank Holders awarded by U.G.C. in 2012.

She is a life member of North Eastern Economic Association (NEEA) and Indian Economics and Allied Sciences Association (IEASA). She has presented a number of papers in various National and International Seminars and has in her credit a few publications in reputed journals and books.

Her hobbies include painting, singing and practising yoga.
