Washrooms for Differently Abled
The commitment of National Law University Assam to inclusivity and equal access is exemplified by its provision of separate washrooms specifically designed for differently abled students. Across every floor of every building on the campus, there is at least one of these accessible washrooms. This not only ensures compliance with accessibility standards but, more importantly, creates an environment where differently abled individuals can move through their daily activities with dignity, comfort, and independence. These washrooms are equipped with features such as wider entrances, grab bars, and other accessibility aids, accommodating a diverse range of needs. This thoughtful and considerate infrastructure not only reflects the university's respect for the rights and needs of differently abled students but also fosters an atmosphere of true inclusion, where everyone has the opportunity to participate fully in the academic and social life of the institution. National Law University Assam sets a commendable example for ensuring that accessibility is a fundamental aspect of campus life.
