Profile

Dr. Amol Deo Chavhan was worked for 10 years in premier institution before joining National Law University Assam. Dr. Amol is social science graduate; he obtains B.A., LL.B., LL.M., PGDHR from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University Amravati. He qualified NET in 2011. The Ph.D. Degree was awarded for his work in Field of Law on the prominent aspect of Negligence entitled “CRITICAL STUDY OF ‘NEGLIGENCE’ WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO ‘MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE DURING TREATMENT’ IN THE LIGHT OF JUDICIAL DECISIONS.” On 26th September 2016 by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University Amravati. Dr. Amol is engaged in teaching since 2009. Presently, he is serving as an Associate Professor in National Law University Assam, Guwahati. His subjects of teaching mainly are Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Penal Code, Law of Torts, Family Law, Jurisprudence.

Dr. Amol is keenly interested in academics. His study of diverse subjects is reflected in his articles. He has published 10 research papers in UGC listed and SCOPUS journals. He contributed more than 20 articles in seminar and conference. He participated various National and International conferences. He has spoken as resource person respectively at several programmes organized by University and Institutions.
