Dr. Ishrat Husain

Dr. Ishrat Husain is a social science graduate; he obtained his LL.B and LL.M from AMU, Aligarh. He has specialization in Labour Laws. He qualified NET in 2003. He has been awarded doctorate on the topic “Administration and Management of Waqf properties of Muslim Educational Institutions’ with special reference to the State of U.P. Since 2005, Dr. Husain is engaged in teaching U.P. Land laws, Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Code, Company Law and Mercantile Law have been his subject of teaching. Dr. Husain is keenly interested in academics. He has written several articles in different magazines and National Daily. He has also got research papers published in Law Journals. His study of diverse subjects is reflected in his articles.

He has special interest in Horse Riding, Swimming and Reading. He got a certificate of Horsemanship with 2nd position from AMU, Riding Club. He has served as a Senior Section Commander in Riding Club and had been awarded chairman prize in 1994 by the university. He had participated in Delhi Horse show organized by PEPC, New Delhi. He secured 2nd position in show jumping in Jawaharlal Nehru Equestrian Meet Championship in 1993. He has given several Riding Club squad including on the visit of Hon’ble Mr. Madhav Rao Scindhiya, then Union Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism on 13th May, 1992 and in the honour of Gen. V.N. Sharma (Ex-chief of the Army staff) on 27th December 1993.
