National Commission for Women (NCW) in collaboration with Centre for Gender Justice, NLUJA, Assam organised Regional Consultation on Reviewing Laws Related to Inter-State Women Migrant Workers on June 19, 2020.

Mr. Ashok Arora, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court and Secretary Supreme Court Bar Association; delivered a lecture on “Constitution at 70: Journey of Constitution of India with specific reference to rights of women”.

The Lecture was organised by Academic Committee, Student Bar Council of NLUJA, Assam in collaboration with Think India.

National Constitution Society: NLUJA, Assam Chapter hosted Constitution Day, as mandated by the Bar Council of India on February 26, 2020, that aims to create, celebrate and practice India's Constitutional values. A discussion was held on one of the Supreme Court's landmark judgements: Shakti Vahini v. Union of India (2018) 7 SCC 192.
